I agree with Keen, at some point there has to be a correction.
I say let it happen, under no circumstance should we attempt to stop the inevitable. It is because economists and pollies fiddle, in combination with banks, the well healed and corporates manipulating and exploiting that we find ourselves in this position.
We need to ensure the great unwashed has a handle as to what is going on so they are not conned into something they pay for but is not to their benefit.
I would favour something akin to Iceland’s solution, control the parliament, nationalise the banks in combination with debt forgiveness protocol. I almost forgot; lock up the dodgy operators as a clear disincentive.
