I though so too johncitizenI've also been thinking that more people are burdened by their mortgages than by unemployment so I feel like maybe the Steve keen angle might be more powerful as a big public message ... Hmmm food for thought. Not saying I don't want AEP to hammer home MMT and full employment but a major publicity stunt could also be around private debt. Perhaps drawing attention in some spectacular fashion to the fact that private debt is the real concern

When we get the Steve Keen credit crash/recession and collapse of housing prices it will be big time "I told you so" Steve is saying very likely in this term of Government! Excellent time to push MMT, private debt, Job Guarantee because the Govt/RBA and Treasury will be saying it was an exogenous shock we never saw coming.
Had a quick look at votes and proceedings for House of Reps looks like who votes for a bill has been recorded since Federation
